Artistic Director & Meisner Technique Instructor
Eleanor Vance, a Tony Award-winning actress and director, founded StageReady Academy in 2005 with a vision to create a supportive and challenging environment where aspiring actors could thrive. With over 30 years of experience in the theater, Eleanor is a master of the Meisner Technique and is passionate about helping actors discover their authentic selves. Her approach emphasizes emotional honesty, spontaneity, and deep connection with the material. She holds a BFA in Acting from Juilliard and an MFA in Directing from Yale School of Drama.
Scene Study & Method Acting Instructor
Marcus Bellwether is a renowned acting coach who has worked with some of the biggest names in Hollywood. His clients have won numerous awards, including Oscars, Emmys, and Golden Globes. Marcus brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to his classes, focusing on character development and emotional depth. He is a graduate of the Actors Studio Drama School and has studied extensively with Stella Adler and Lee Strasberg. Marcus is dedicated to helping actors unlock their full potential and achieve their dreams.
Voice & Speech & Shakespearean Acting Instructor
Seraphina Moreau is a leading voice coach and dialect specialist. She holds a PhD in Linguistics from Columbia University and has worked with actors on Broadway, in film, and on television. Seraphina helps actors develop their vocal skills and master different accents and dialects for a variety of roles. Her approach combines technical expertise with artistic sensibility, empowering actors to communicate with clarity, power, and authenticity. Seraphina is also a passionate advocate for classical theater and is dedicated to preserving the tradition of Shakespearean performance.
Improvisation & Comedy Instructor
Jasper Thorne is a seasoned improviser and comedian with over 20 years of experience performing and teaching improv. He is a founding member of the renowned improv troupe "The Unscripted" and has toured extensively throughout the United States and Europe. Jasper's classes are high-energy, playful, and designed to help actors develop their quick thinking, creativity, and collaborative skills. He believes that improv is not just for comedians, but for all actors who want to become more spontaneous, confident, and versatile performers. Jasper holds a BA in Theater from NYU.
Acting for Film & Television Instructor
Isabelle Dubois is an award-winning film actress and director with a passion for helping actors transition from the stage to the screen. She has starred in numerous independent films and television shows and has directed several critically acclaimed short films. Isabelle's classes focus on the specific skills and techniques required for acting in front of the camera, including on-set etiquette, camera angles, and working with different types of shots. She is committed to helping actors develop their screen presence and build successful careers in the film and television industry. Isabelle is a graduate of the AFI Conservatory.
Movement for Actors Instructor
Montgomery Price is a highly sought-after movement coach and choreographer who has worked with actors on Broadway and in regional theaters across the country. He is a certified instructor of the Alexander Technique and has studied various forms of dance and physical theater. Montgomery's classes are designed to help actors improve their physical awareness, coordination, and stage presence. He believes that movement is an essential tool for actors to embody characters fully and express themselves with greater freedom and confidence. Montgomery holds an MFA in Movement Studies from the University of Washington.
